My Best Birthday Ever!

Don't let the big number on the cake scare you!

It is true I am now a member of the Red Hats! (here is Bentley trying it on)

What a blessing my family is in my life. Thanks to Vickie, Lynn, Steve, Christy, Kayla (her birthday is also the 14th) and especially my MOM, who traveled over the snow covered Rocky Mountains to spend my BIG 5-0 with all of us here in Colorado. Thanks to all MY KIDS who surprised me with the house decorated with Gold & Silver (and very little black). If there is one thing that I have learned in my 50 years here on the earth it is this..The greatest gift from my Heavenly Father is the very best friends that anyone could want MY FAMILY!! I love You All....

Thanksgiving night while Parley and Ethan were in town we had all the kids spend the night. This is what we found them all doing first thing the next morning. How sweet is that???

Giving Thanks!

This weekend we had the blessing of having all our Grandchildren together. Parley and Ethan were here from Utah it was so great to have them all together again. All 6 slept over Thanksgiving evening OK ,by the time Parley and Blake were asleep it was early Friday morning.
It's wonderful to have all the noise and commotion in the houseagain. It was such a beautiful day that they were all able to go out on the playground and play. As I was watching them my heart was so full of gratitude to my Heavenly Father for the blessing of these 6 special spirits that have fully blessed my life. It was one of my favorite days ever!

It's A Dogs Life!

Sibling rivalry at it's best!
How lucky can one puppy be? What you cannot see is to the right and up a bit is a warm glowing fire keeping her warm. For those of you who know Ella you may be wondering how we got her to lay down and relax? Sedatives....She was spayed on Friday and we are keeping her drugged to keep her calm. Do you think the vet will let us keep the RX going?
Fair is Fair here is Bailey laying down on hers! Notice the gray beard? That is from having a puppy in the house!

Snuggling!

Here was another moment when I felt so grateful to my Heavenly Father for the opportunity I have to share this life with my family. This was a special moment in time, Simply watching "Fly Away Home" and snuggling with the kids how blessed my life is.

Thirsty Girl!

After playing outside with Bailey Ella is very thirsty. Bailey is annoyed at the puppy and growls to keep her in her place but is still very sweet to her.

I Hate Snakes!

Yesterday we came home with Ella and she had done very well. She loves to explore our yard! Brian was out in the yard when he came across a 4 foot Rattle Snake! Yes it was a Rattle Snake. Long story short the police were called but Brain was so freaked out that he killed it before the police were here. He threw one of these big center blocks on its head and crushed it! My brave man!!!! The police officer said he was glad that Brian had killed it cuz they are not allowed to do so. They just catch them and let them loose in the wild!

What A Blessing You Are

A Smile

Brian and I were able to spend a few days with Mom and Farrell. Farrell's Alzeheimers is progressing quickly. We wanted to be able to spend time with him and see what we could do to support mom. Here is a cute smile as we were all taking pictures. This is the smile that we do not see often on Farrell any longer it was wonderful to see. Mom keeps a great attitude and to watch her take care of all of Farrells needs is such a tribute to the sweet love that they have for one another. Farrell is not able to talk much any longer but one thing that he did say one night as he looked at mom was " I Love You Dearly"
On Sunday March 2 all my siblings were able to come over to Moms and we had dinner all together. It has been so long since we were all together with mom and I am sad to say that we are not sure. That just tells me that we have waited way too long! I am so blessed to have such wonderful siblings. Thank you Vickie, Lynn,Steve, Christy and Bryant for taking the time to come and spend time with us. We love you so much!
